ilvro sells wooden pretend-play toys — vet kits, shop tills, salons, play houses and rocking horses. Things a child sets up, knocks down, and sets up again the next morning.
The range is deliberately narrow. We would rather stock sixteen things we can describe accurately than six hundred we cannot, and every one has been chosen by us rather than pulled in from a supplier feed.
Three things have to be true.
Nothing reaches the site on price alone. Every toy has to clear the same three tests before we put a page up for it.
It has to be played with, not watched
No screens, no batteries, no sounds it makes on its own. The child supplies the story.
It has to survive the second child
A plastic till cracks at the hinge and goes in the bin. A wooden one gets a chipped corner and carries on.
The paperwork has to exist
We do not list a product until the supplier has provided its test reports and certification. If a claim is not on paper, it does not go on the page.
How we work
ilvro is online only — there is no shop to visit. Orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom and prices are shown in pounds. Emails are answered by a person, usually within one working day.
