Who you're buying from
ilvro is a trading name of store in [England and Wales / Scotland] registered office 142 Saint James Square, Edinburgh EH1 3AD, United Kingdom.
Email us at contact@ilvro.com. We reply within one working day, Monday to Friday.
These terms apply when you buy from ilvro.com. Please read them before you order. Nothing here removes or reduces your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Ordering
You need to be 18 or over to place an order.
When you place an order you're making an offer to buy. The order confirmation email is an acknowledgement, not an acceptance — the contract between us starts when we email to say your order has been dispatched.
That matters if something goes wrong at our end. If a price or product description is wrong, or an item turns out to be out of stock after you've ordered, we'll contact you before dispatch and either put it right or cancel and refund you in full. We won't send you something different from what you ordered without asking first.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout before you pay.
We take payment when you order. If we then cancel under clause 1, you're refunded in full.
3. Delivery
We ship to addresses in the United Kingdom.
Orders leave us within 1 to 2 working days. Standard delivery then takes 3 to 5 working days. These are estimates — once a parcel is with the carrier its progress isn't in our hands, though a late or missing parcel is still ours to sort out.
A toy stays our responsibility until it's physically in your hands. If tracking says delivered and nothing arrived, tell us and we'll deal with it.
4. Returns and refunds
Our Returns & Refunds policy sets out your cancellation rights, how to send something back, who pays postage, and how long refunds take. It forms part of these terms.
In short: 30 days to start a return on anything, and we cover postage when a toy is faulty, damaged or wrong.
5. Our toys
We photograph and describe every toy as accurately as we can. Where a toy is made from wood or other natural materials, grain, tone and finish vary from one piece to the next. That's the material, not a fault — but if what arrives doesn't match how we described it, that's on us and your rights under clause 4 apply in full.
Age guidance and safety. Every product page shows a minimum age. Please follow it. Some toys contain small parts and are not suitable for children under three. Toys are for play under adult supervision where the product says so. Keep packaging away from children.
If you ever have a safety concern about something you've bought from us, email us straight away and we'll act on it.
6. Using this site
You're welcome to browse, share links, and use our content for your own personal purposes. Please don't copy our text, layout or photography for commercial use, or scrape the site, without asking us first.
Product images supplied to us by manufacturers remain the property of their owners.
Don't use the site to do anything unlawful, or in any way that interferes with it working for other people.
7. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to meet these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of that failure. We're not responsible for loss or damage that wasn't foreseeable at the time the contract was made.
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- any breach of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including that goods are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described
- defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987
- anything else it would be unlawful for us to exclude
Beyond those, and where we are liable, our liability for any one order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We supply toys for domestic and private use. If you buy from us for a business purpose, we're not liable for lost profit, lost business, or business interruption.
8. Your privacy
How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one on the site at the time you place it. We'll date any changes at the top of this page.
10. If something goes wrong
Email contact@ilvro.com first — most things get sorted the same week. If we can't resolve it between us, you can refer the complaint to an alternative dispute resolution provider.
These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales / Scotland], and disputes may be brought in its courts. As a consumer, you can also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
